HireveinAI stores three things in your browser. Total. No ad network, no analytics pixel, no cross-site tracker — the same self-hosted, nothing-hidden approach as the rest of the platform.

01
What a cookie actually is
On record
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to hold onto — just enough to remember who you are between page loads, or which theme you picked last time. Local storage does the same basic job through a different browser API. It can't read your files or see your camera, and it can't track you across other sites unless a site deliberately builds it to. Nothing on HireveinAI does the latter.

The three things we store

That's the entire list — no hidden fourth cookie, no vendor script quietly adding its own.

03
Third-party cookies
On record
Exactly one: Razorpay — our one and only payment processor, used for every paid action on the platform (HR subscription and addon billing, a job seeker's Pro plan, and course-credit purchases alike), and only while you're actually on a checkout screen. We don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any ad network. There's nothing here designed to follow you to another site.
04
The consent banner
First-time visitors see a banner before cookie_consent is ever set, with three choices: accept everything, reject anything non-essential, or manage the one optional category yourself. Changed your mind? The small "Cookie settings" pill in the bottom-left corner of any page reopens it — no need to clear your browser to reconsider.
05
Managing or deleting cookies
On record
Every major browser has a "Cookies and site data" panel that lets you clear ours specifically, anytime — no need to wait for a banner. Clearing session signs you out; clearing theme just reverts to your OS default. Choosing "Reject non-essential" in the banner stops theme from being saved at all — session and cookie_consent still apply, since the site can't function or remember your choice without them.

Changes to this policy
We'll bump the version tag at the top whenever this list changes — which, given there are only three things, should be rare. Questions go through the Contact page.
